Agent Composer Pro: Starter Sites

Starter Sites is an Agent Composer Pro feature that provides four editable, native Gutenberg starting structures for SaaS, service, knowledge, and editorial sites. It combines Agent Canvas presentation with staged content import, explicit review, reversible structure activation, optional provider integrations, and an inactive Composer Config Set handoff.

Starter Sites is part of the Agent Composer plugin, not a separate WordPress product, page builder, hosted AI service, or one-click production publisher. Imported pages and posts remain drafts. It does not install or activate plugins, switch themes, publish content, assign the public front page, activate Composer configuration, or embed credentials.

Included starter sites​

  • SaaS Launch for product marketing and onboarding sites;
  • Service Studio for professional-service and agency sites;
  • Knowledge Hub for documentation and support libraries;
  • Editorial Journal for publication and authority-building sites.

Each site package contains integrity-checked portable content, navigation instructions, Canvas design choices, editable legal-page placeholders, fallback behavior, optional WP Suite integrations, and a Composer Config Set that stays inactive until separately reviewed.

Choose your starting path​

  • For a new site based on SaaS Launch, Service Studio, Knowledge Hub, or Editorial Journal, follow the staged import workflow.
  • For an existing site migration or a substantial site-specific redesign, use Foundation & Migration. It first prepares the destination's design and structure, then creates Composer governance from a fresh snapshot of the applied foundation.
  • If Canvas and the site's design/content model are already suitable, you can skip Foundation design changes and begin with a fresh content-governance kit. The migration guide explains which snapshot and activation rules still apply.

Safety model​

Starter Sites separates the process into an initial safety check (called preflight), draft import, preview, activation, optional integrations, and rollback. Composer records which items it created and detects later edits, so rollback stops instead of overwriting someone else's newer work. Header and footer activation also stops when the current site already contains a separate customization that needs human review.

The production release supports Agent Canvas 1.0.4 and later compatible 1.x releases. Check the Agent Composer release notes before using a future Canvas 2.x release.
