Post-launch content operations for WordPress

Let clients create WordPress content without breaking the site.

Build the site with your preferred agency, theme, or site-building workflow. Agent Composer turns its existing content types, patterns, and editorial rules into controlled draft workflows for the AI agents your team and clients already use.

Agency handoff

The design stays with the site builder

Composer does not redesign the site. It fills approved content structures and validates the resulting Gutenberg draft against the active contract.

Execution boundary

Agents create or update assigned drafts only. Human editors retain WordPress publication, administration, and the final production release.

Built for the work after launch

Turn a finished WordPress site into a governed content system

The difficult part is rarely the first version of the website. It is giving clients enough freedom to create useful content for years without handing over unrestricted administration or repeatedly rebuilding approved layouts.

01

Preserve the agency’s design system

Map recurring content types to approved templates, patterns, blocks, fields, metadata, and layout constraints instead of asking an agent to invent the page structure again.

02

Give clients a safer CMS handoff

Clients can request complete case studies, solution pages, landing pages, posts, or other approved content types while the Composer contract limits what the agent may create.

03

Keep private WordPress private

Use a direct authenticated MCP connection where appropriate, or an optional outbound Connector tunnel when WordPress stays local or behind a firewall. Both routes reach the same limited Composer abilities.

04

Separate creation from production

Composer stops at a validated Gutenberg draft. Human review and WordPress publication remain separate, and Static Publisher can optionally release the approved site state on a manual or scheduled workflow.

Core capabilities

Controlled content creation from the site contract to the final draft

Model the site you already have

Versioned Config Sets combine the Site Contract, content-type mappings, page blueprints, templates, approved patterns, block policies, SEO requirements, and validation limits.

Validate complete Gutenberg plans

Composer checks the target post type, template, required pattern sequence, registered blocks, saved markup, headings, excerpt policy, SEO description, and blueprint constraints before saving.

Delegate to plugin providers

Gatey, Flow, AI-Kit, and other registered providers remain the authority for their own abilities and blocks. Composer delegates only operations allowed by the selected blueprint.

Protect collaborative review

Agent assignment stays separate from WordPress authorship. Revision and checksum tokens prevent stale requests from silently overwriting newer editorial or agent work.

End-to-end workflow

One governed content path, with a separate release boundary

The site builder defines the design and content model. The client’s compatible AI agent works only through Composer’s approved abilities, while publication and any static production release remain human-controlled steps.

Agency or site builder
Theme + patterns + CPTs + editorial rules
                    ↓
Composer Config Set
Site Contract → Content mappings → Page Blueprints
                    ↓
Client’s existing AI agent
  ├─ direct authenticated MCP connection
  └─ optional outbound Connector tunnel
                    ↓
Agent Composer validation → Assigned Gutenberg draft
                    ↓
Human preview, revision, and WordPress publication
                    ↓ optional
Static Publisher → S3 / CloudFront production
↳ optional Static Site Guardian protection

WordPress stores the contract, configuration, draft, metadata, assignment state, and validation results. The AI client remains responsible for model reasoning. Static Publisher and Static Site Guardian are optional WP Suite delivery layers, not Composer prerequisites. Agent Canvas is an optional reference and starter theme for exercising the complete contract model; agencies can keep their own compatible theme and site-building process.

Evaluation guide

Questions before you hand content creation to a client or agent

Does Composer require Agent Canvas or a particular theme?

No. Composer works with an existing compatible WordPress site when its content types, templates, patterns, blocks, and rules are represented by the active Config Set. Agent Canvas is the optional reference and starter theme for demonstrating the complete contract model.

Can it work with a local or firewall-protected WordPress site?

Yes. A compatible client may connect directly through an authenticated MCP route, while the optional outbound Connector tunnel can reach the same Composer capabilities without opening an inbound WordPress or MCP endpoint.

Can the agent publish to WordPress or production?

No. Composer exposes governed draft operations, not WordPress publication or normal content deletion. After human review, an editor may publish in WordPress; Static Publisher can then optionally export the approved site state through a separate manual or scheduled production workflow.

Who controls the design and the generated content structure?

The agency or site builder remains responsible for the theme, components, content types, and editorial rules. Composer applies the active contract and blueprint; it does not replace the design process or give the AI a blank layout canvas.

Build once, operate content safely

Turn your finished site into a governed content workflow.

Define the content types clients may create, connect the compatible AI agent they already use, and keep every generated result inside WordPress draft review before any production release.
